Combat Pain And Stiffness with Our Weekly Stretch Session!
You may ask: "Is stretching important?" Well, it sure is! Especially in older adults, muscles and joints weaken and range of movement deteriorates as we age. Stretching would play an important role in maintaining mobility in older adults and improving their blood flow and circulation within the body.
Additionally, frequent stretching keeps a proper blood and nutrient supply to the working muscles and tissues throughout the day. If you have been sitting down the whole day, stretching will also help to reduce fatigue and enable you to feel more energize!
You will most likely require a chair for the stretch session as some of the exercises are done seated and in other instances, you may need a chair for support.
